Events at Judson Mill

After several years in the Greenville area, we’ve had to opportunity to work with many amazing venues, but there are a few that make it on our list as the best. Judson Mill is a historic building from 1912 that was transformed into an “everything” venue, meaning that they offer parking, in-house coordination, all-inclusive meal packages, event security, furniture and decor, bar services, and more! Their goal to provide everything in one place makes Judson one of the easiest venues to work with, since there’s no bouncing around from location to location on the wedding day.



Their team is detail-oriented, timely, and on top of everything. They make sure to send us detailed timelines with layouts and vendor details weeks in advance, which is hard to come by in the wedding industry.



We got an opportunity to hear from Tammy Johnson, CEO of High Spirits Hospitality, on her heart behind Judson Mill and the amazing venue they have created.


What inspired turning part of Judson Mill into a wedding venue?

  • “The biggest motivator was that we needed to relocate from our old venue, and time was of the essence. I searched throughout Greenville for the perfect spot, and when I discovered Judson Mill, I instantly knew it was the one. The potential was limitless, even though I initially toured it while it was still under construction. Everyone thought I was a bit crazy because they couldn’t see what I envisioned. But for me, the vision was crystal clear. The stunning natural light combined with the original features, alongside my modern touches, created an incredible venue.”


What is your favorite renovation at Judson Mill?

  • “My favorite renovation is definitely the Annex. It offers such an airy, romantic ambiance with its 16-foot ceilings, historic mill windows, exposed brickwork, original timber beams, and beautifully refinished maple floors. Being involved throughout the entire process, from start to finish, and hand-selecting every furnishing made it truly special. The Annex, to me, embodies my passion for the event and wedding industry.”


What can couples expect when they book at Judson Mill?

  • “Our clients can expect a seamless, turnkey experience, with plenty of flexibility and customization options. Through our team’s expertise, knowledge, and dedication, we deliver exceptional events. We take pride in being hospitality-driven, ensuring that couples, their families, and guests have an unforgettable experience, filled with memories to last for years to come.”
